Firstly, everyone procrastinates and can be easily distracted but the trick is to not let it bring you to a complete standstill or lead to self sabotage.
I have been guilty of this and had to put things in place to allow myself to make progress, recognising how you're easily distracted and what distacts you is the first step in making sure you don't succumb.
This will seem like going over old rope but sometimes we just a reminder to help get us back on track.
When working from home, once you've had breakfast, turn off the tv.
Create a proper workspace, don't sit on the sofa with your laptop on your lap.
Take breaks for a coffee or go for a walk.
Plan what your tasks are for the day to give you a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.
Whatever you don't complete is your starting point for the next day but do beat yourself I you don't complete everything, it's just a list of things to get through.
If things have a deadline then address those first.
Don't invite friends over when you know you have tasks to do which are time sensitive.
Having a proper work space is the best thing as you put yourself into work mode when sitting at your work station and knowing that it's time to focus.
It doesn't matter how long you decide your working day is, it can be one hour or 8, just make the time count!
I find scheduling emails a real help and the same with social media/blog posts, write them when you feel inspired and select the best time for them to be posted.
When creating video conten, do the same, record several videos in one go. Videos content only needs to be from a few seconds to no more than a couple of minutes long so by creating a series of videos on a theme you get continuity and engaging content which makes sense.
Finally enjoy the process of creating your own product and getting it out there, it will be worth all the effort.
